About thefit.camp
This program exists because I needed it and couldn't find it anywhere.
My name is Ashraf. I'm an illustrator, graphic designer, and animator with a degree in architectural engineering and a love for fitness and living a healthy lifestyle.
Sound Familiar?
Deadlines at midnight. A client list longer than the day. Projects stacking up faster than you can finish them. The gym membership you're still paying for but haven't used in three months.
That was my life for a long stretch, a demanding freelance career that quietly swallowed everything else. I wasn't lazy. I genuinely cared about my health. But between chasing income and meeting deadlines, physical activity kept getting pushed to next week. Then next month. Then someday.
Every fitness program I tried assumed I had an hour a day, a full tank of energy, and the kind of iron willpower that somehow survives a 12-hour workday. None of them were built for someone actually trying to earn a living and stay healthy at the same time.
So I stopped looking for the right program and started building one.
A Different Kind of Toolkit
Drawing on my understanding of human anatomy as an illustrator, my knowledge of forces and mechanics as an engineer, and everything I had accumulated about nutrition and training, I designed a system built around one simple principle: it has to work in real life, not ideal life.
Resistance band training became the foundation, affordable, compact, and far more effective than most people realize. Three years of testing and refining that system produced results I'm still proud of today. Genuine muscle. Real fat loss. Habits that held without a gym, a rigid routine, or burning out. During that period I earned my ISSA personal trainer certification, which gave me the scientific framework to understand exactly why the system worked.
The certification has since expired. The knowledge hasn't.
The Proof
When I eventually returned to gym training, I started at 85% of my previous maximum weights and was back to 100% within two months. Today, at 45, I train at 120% of what I could lift in my mid-thirties, have lost a lot of body fat, and have a physique I never had before.
Friends I guided through the same system saw comparable results, and their feedback convinced me the experience was worth sharing properly.
